Gideon EmeryAn award-winning actor best known for his role as Deucalion in Teen Wolf and his namesake Gideon in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Emery was raised in both England and South Africa. While a student, he was discovered by lauded stage actor Bill Flynn and began performing voice-overs in between his studies.

Although often cast as a villain on screen, Emery gained exposure as one of the core performers on Not Quite Friday Night, an SNL-type sketch comedy show, which profiled his natural ability for characters and accents. He went on to appear in Heel Against the Head, once again alongside veteran Bill Flynn and pre-eminent South African playwright Paul Slabolepszy, winning the national Vita Award for Comedy; the local equivalent of the Tony awards. Emery is also a singer: he was a member of South Africa’s premiere a capella group Not The Midnight Mass, and has also released a jazz standards album, Standard Ease.

On screen, Emery has recurred on Daredevil, Shameless, and Last Resort. He also won multiple best actor awards for his portrayal of Richard Pine in the Stephen King short Survivor Type. When not acting on camera, he can be heard bringing life to characters in video games and audio books. (Biography courtesy IMDb)

Kristine Sutherland

Clients

As Joyce Summers, mother to the heroine in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kristine Sutherland was more familiar with doling out maternal advice than spells and curses. But the show wasn’t her first foray into the supernatural: She got her start playing Pegora the witch for the local children’s theatre company while in high school.

After attending university, Kristine traveled to London to study acting at The Drama Studio. New York City beckoned, and Kristine soon got her professional start Off-Broadway and in regional theater. Since then, she has appeared in a number of pilots for television, guest starred on many popular television shows, and appeared in countless commercials and voiceovers. Many children of the 1980s remember her as the next-door neighbor, Mae Thompson, in the hit Disney film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

In 1993, Kristine and her husband, actor John Pankow (cousin Ira, Mad About You), moved to Los Angeles. In 1997, she kicked off a seven-year run as the ever-motherly Joyce Summers on the WB’s cult hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

When her role on Buffy began to wind down, Kristine seized the opportunity to stretch her talents beyond acting and attended the photography program at Santa Monica College. She is currently working on a book documenting rural mountain life in Italy.

Kristine and her family moved back home to New York in 2004 and enjoy taking advantage of everything New York City has to offer. She continues to enjoy guest staring in the many episodic television shows that are shooting in the New York area and working as a portrait photographer. She recently co-starred in the independent film The Perfect Wedding, with James Rebhorn.

laurieMiracle Laurie is originally from Huntington Beach, Calif. — part of the “OC,” as it’s referred to now. She’s acted in theatre since the age of 7 and has her degree in drama from the University of California, Irvine. She had her first piano lesson at the age of 5 and has been a Polynesian dancer pretty much since she could walk. She has been lucky enough to dance with such Hawaiian greats as Bill Tapia and Rev. Dennis Kamakahi.

Miracle modeled for a few years and even appeared on the cover of Teen magazine. A few years ago, she and her man fell in love with the ukulele and formed Uke Box Heroes, a very groovy ukulele cover band. She was lucky enough to get her “big break” by appearing as “Mellie/November” in Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse for two seasons. She was blessed to work with such greats as Olivia Williams, Harry Lennix, Eliza Dushku, Fran Kranz, Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Reed Diamond, Dichen Lachman, Enver Gjokaj and, last but not least, Tahmoh Penikett.

After Dollhouse she’s been fortunate enough to carve out a small independent film career and get supporting roles in movies starring some of her long-time heroes, like Val Kilmer. She’s also had the pleasure of working right alongside some of the most talented and beloved people in the business like Alan Cumming, Garret Dillahunt, Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler. She just recently found out that the film Any Day Now will be part of the Spotlight Series at the Tribeca Film Festival this spring and couldn’t be more thrilled.

Miracle is currently fighting the good fight as an actor in Los Angeles, cherishing every opportunity that comes her way and savoring every experience she has. Uke Box Heroes is looking to play a few dates around town starting in April 2012 and release their second album by the fall.
