Dominic can currently be seen as Grayman in Apple TV’s ‘PALM ROYALE’ alongside Kristen Wiig, Allison Janey and Carol Burnett… and the most recent season of ‘AMERICAN HORROR STORY: DELICATE’… he can next be seen in as Delron in Amazon’s ‘CRIMINAL’ TV series based on Ed Brubaker’s hit graphic novels, and a couple of other things that are still a little bit top secret.

Dominic was born in 1982, in Stoke-on-Trent, England (just like the Captain of the R.M.S. TITANIC, fact fans). He was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London, where he classically trained for three years. Public productions included ‘TWELFTH NIGHT’ (Malvolio), ‘THE END OF THE FOOD CHAIN’ (Robbo) and ‘THEY SHOOT HORSES, DON’T THEY?’ (Rocky Gravo).

Dominic’s first television role upon graduating was the BBC’s award winning Sci-Fi behemoth, ‘DOCTOR WHO’, where he met a grisly fate at the hand of the Daleks (Dominic’s Doctor will always be Sylvester McCoy). He arrived in Los Angeles, just a suitcase and his laptop in hand in November 2007, just in time for the Writer’s Strike… He didn’t know anyone in Los Angeles and subsequently has many stories to tell you about the living situations he found himself in through Craigslist.

Dominic’s notable acting roles include playing Victor Buono in Ryan Murphy’s multi-Emmy nominated series, ‘FEUD’, for which he received critical acclaim (“played with uncanny precision by Dominic Burgess – ‘THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER’), Jerry Summers in ‘DR DEATH’, The Ram-God Ember in SyFy’s ‘THE MAGICIANS’, accident prone Henry in ‘THE GOOD PLACE’, Psycho Pete in ‘IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA’, supervillain Kilg%re on ‘THE FLASH’, the sinister Mr. Vup in ‘STAR TREK: PICARD’ and the infamous John Wayne Gacy in ‘MONSTER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER STORY’. Other TV credits include, ‘OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH’, ‘SANTA CLARITA DIET’, ‘BETTER THINGS’, ‘THE LEFTOVERS’, ‘QUEEN OF THE SOUTH’, ‘AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D’, ‘RAISING HOPE’, and ‘ECHO 3’.

As a writer/filmmaker, Dominic’s directorial short debut, ‘SAM DID IT’ (starring Alfred Molina as himself… dead) played the festival circuit, picking up numerous awards and qualifying for BAFTA consideration. His WWII feature drama ‘PRODUCTS OF WAR’ is currently in pre-production, having won the pitch-fest competition at Nashville International Film Festival and placed in the Quarter Finals of the Nicholl Academy Fellowship. His true crime comedy ‘BELLE’S NOT WELL’ is currently under option. His outrageous buddy-comedy feature ‘RING GOES SOUTH’ and drama-thriller ‘CHECK SURROUNDINGS FOR SAFETY’ placed in the Semi Finals of the Nicholl Academy Fellowship.

Dominic is also a mentee of Ryan Murphy’s Director Mentorship Program, the HALF INITIATIVE.

An avid lover of nature, Dominic is interested in ways to get involved in wildlife preservation, and as of going to press… he is a proud cat parent to five rescued felines (Frodo, Pippin, Ripley, Blink and Nub-Nub)…
