Keith Allan

Keith Allan is a versatile actor, writer, director, and producer with a career spanning over 40 years. Best known for his role as “The Murphy,” the zombie messiah, on the SyFy series Z Nation, Keith captivated audiences for five seasons. His extensive acting résumé includes appearances on iconic television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Enterprise, Mad Men, Will & Grace, and The Good Doctor.

As a writer, Keith has penned several feature films for SyFy and Lifetime, including Rise of the Zombies and Social Nightmare. He made his directorial debut in 2011 with the feature film 11/11/11. His talent extends to directing and producing, including episodes of Z Nation and various short films. Among his notable works are the Sundance-selected short The Big Abandoned Refrigerator Adventure, the original rap video Yo Krampus Un-Wrap This, and content for The Razzie Awards and The Spike and Mike Sick and Twisted Festival.

Keith’s creative endeavors showcase his unique storytelling ability and his passion for bringing compelling, often unconventional, projects to life.

Keith Allan was born in Sacramento, California, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for Z Nation (2014), Star Trek: Enterprise (2001) and Stumptown (2019).
